About Shape Mahjong

Shape Mahjong is a mahjong solitaire where you do not look for identical tiles but for different tiles that belong to the same shape. Only free tiles can be picked: a tile is free when nothing covers it and its left or right side is open.

How to play Shape Mahjong

Find matching pairs of tiles. Select available tiles and clear the board according to the game rules.

Languages and options inside each game are determined by its creator.

Matching symbols do not always mean a pair can be removed. Variants differ in their rules for edges, layers, and connections.

Look for a move that opens more tiles before taking the nearest pair.
